Would you celebrate with me? Because I can remember when I was in a car accident eleven years ago and could no longer work outside the home.
I had to have my hip replaced and a major muscle on the side of my leg re-attached and I could no longer walk without help plus I still suffer from the injuries to my back and neck.
I cried when I had to go the the government and get on disability assistance.
The worst part was even before the car accident we were in so much debt and Bill and I were working on paying it off. Now I could no longer contribute and we had to figure out how I could work online from home.
We tried different ways of working online from home and ended up losing more money than we were able to make.
We were both very, very frustrated and I was getting burnt out and I was so hard on myself it really made a huge dent in my confidence, not to mention the toll it was taking on our marriage.
Then Bill was up late one night searching the internet for ideas and he came across some tips for social media marketing that we did not know.
We realized that nothing we had done was successful and once we started following those tips, things started to turn around as we learned some real marketing.
Now the stress is off our shoulders and we're both happier and more confident.
That is why I am celebrating myself that I can now share with people like me who became disabled and want to earn money from home.
In some ways that accident was a blessing in disguise because I no longer have the headache of working a 9 to 5 and I can spend time with my precious granddaughters whenever I want to.
I'm posting a picture of our two youngest granddaughters below, we also have two grandsons and another granddaughter.
