There was a time when I made the gifts I would give. 🎁
I even made new Christmas outfits for myself and my daughters.👗
Remember Cabbage Patch dolls? 👶 I won one once for my oldest daughter and when the other two came along, I purchased doll heads and made the bodies myself.
They all had plenty of clothes because the neat thing about Cabbage Patch babies is that newborn baby clothes fit them perfectly.👶
Then when I broke my wrist, crocheting became my perfect therapy and I made 13 long scarves that year. 🧣
I also crocheted toys and hand puppets and now the little ones play with them. 🐶😻
Creating something I can give is a joy to me. 🤸♂️
This year, I'm whipping up flannel nightgowns on my sewing machine for my two youngest granddaughters. 🎎
But what about everyone else I want to give to?💖
There's always my standard fruit strips and jerky from my dehydrator but I'd also love to give something special to each one...
